Identity DesignPackaging DesignNossa Familia Coffee is a family-run coffee roaster and brewer located in Portland, OR, and an emerging enthusiast brand that we believe in. Nossa Familia turned to Caffelli to help grow their business by giving their brand a step up. The initial effort included a full audit of their retail shelf experience to establish a premise for the brand “look” that would differentiate them from the competition. Based on these findings, Caffelli jumped into the creation of a custom logo and package design, brand direction and more.
Caffelli worked tirelessly to design, collaborate and research with Nossa Familia’s roasters and management in order to ensure that the client’s vision and objectives for the project were met. A new logo, brand colors and coffee packaging were created through a highly collaborative group effort, all while ensuring that the assets created exemplified Nossa Familia’s quality product and rich family history.
Choosing a bright and inviting color to represent the brand was a crucial consideration, since this makes a huge impact on how the coffee bags are perceived in-store. The final, iconic logo features a leaf on the left and flame on the right—both placed like hands, holding a coffee bean in the center.
Already, the rebrand has accounted for a 400% lift in sales. We are grateful to have been able to create high impact work that will help brew a loyal consumer base of coffee-loving enthusiasts in the coming years.
